Building on the proven performance of the Alpha™ Series platform, the Alpha™ Pro takes everything a step further—reducing weight while increasing cutting speed to deliver ION's lightest and fastest cutting auger yet.

Available in 8" and 10" cutting diameters, the Alpha™ Pro delivers an outstanding power-to-weight ratio with the added advantage of two included 40V 4Ah Gen 3 lithium-ion batteries for extended runtime. The 8" model weighs just 14.3 lbs. and cuts up to 3.8 inches of ice per second, providing up to 2,000 inches of ice per charge or 4,000 total inches with both batteries. The 10" model weighs only 14.8 lbs., cuts up to 2.7 inches of ice per second, and delivers up to 1,200 inches of ice per charge or 2,400 total inches with both batteries.

Every detail has been refined to improve the drilling experience. An even delivery of torque, crisp breakthrough, and balanced ergonomics provide smooth, controlled operation from start to finish. The variable-speed trigger offers precise drilling control and helps manage debris inside a wheelhouse, while the durable composite bit is designed to remain tough and flexible in extreme cold.
